Terms of Use

Last updated: October 26, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and CattleOS Inc. (“LabelRex”, “we”, “us”) about your use of the LabelRex website, web app and related services (the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these Terms.

By ticking the box to accept these Terms, creating an account, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a clinic, hospital, company, school or other organization, you also confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What LabelRex is

LabelRex is a quick-reference tool for veterinary product information. It gathers product and label information published by regulators and other public sources, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (DailyMed), Health Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the European Medicines Agency, the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate, Ireland’s Health Products Regulatory Authority, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority, Mexico’s SENASICA and Argentina’s SENASA, and organizes it so it can be searched.

Some features are produced automatically from that text, including quick answers, withdrawal summaries, dose calculations, links between products in different countries, text read from scanned documents, and translations of the app’s interface. Automated processing can make mistakes. Information may be incomplete, out of date, or differ from the label on the product in your hands.

2. Not veterinary advice

LabelRex is a reference aid only. It does not practise veterinary medicine and does not give veterinary, medical, pharmacy, legal or regulatory advice. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, for the product’s current approved label or package insert, or for the rules that apply where you practise.

  • Always confirm doses, withdrawal periods, warnings and approved uses against the product’s current official label before you prescribe, dispense, administer or advise.
  • Calculated doses are arithmetic aids based on the information shown; check every calculation.
  • Products, approvals and withdrawal periods differ between countries. Information about a product in one country does not apply to another.
  • You are solely responsible for decisions you make and for the care of the animals you treat.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
  • The information you give us when you sign up, such as your name, role, organization and country, must be true and kept up to date.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share your login or let anyone else use your account. Organizations need an account for each person who uses the Service.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@cattleos.com if you think someone else has used it.

4. Your licence to use LabelRex

While you follow these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own professional work, studies, or the internal operations of your organization. We keep all rights we do not expressly give you.

5. What you may not do

You may not reproduce, republish or redistribute LabelRex content. In particular, you must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, display, sell, rent, license or otherwise make available any part of the Service or its content (including label text, quick answers, withdrawal summaries, product data, translations and search results) outside the Service, except as allowed below;
  • put LabelRex content on a website, app, intranet, database, publication, course material or product, or use it to build or improve a competing service;
  • scrape, crawl, bulk download or systematically collect content, whether by hand or with bots, scripts or other automated tools;
  • use LabelRex content to train, fine-tune or test artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models;
  • remove or hide copyright notices, disclaimers, source attributions or other notices;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile the Service’s software, or try to get around its security, access controls or usage limits;
  • access parts of the Service you are not authorized to use, or interfere with or overload the Service;
  • use the Service in breach of any law, or to mislead anyone about a product or its approval.

You may:

  • view the Service on your own devices, including the copies the app keeps for offline use;
  • print or save a single label for your own use in caring for a patient, or for that patient’s record;
  • share a label with a colleague or client using the Service’s own share feature;
  • quote small amounts of information in your own clinical notes or communications with a client about a specific patient.

Official documents published by government regulators remain available from those regulators under their own terms. These Terms do not limit any right you have to obtain those documents directly from the original source.

6. Ownership

The Service, including its software, design, databases, the way information is selected, structured and presented, and the summaries, extracted facts, cross-links and translations we produce, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, database and other intellectual-property laws. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners; their appearance in LabelRex does not mean that those owners endorse or are connected with LabelRex.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

7. Your notes and information

Notes, saved labels and other information you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can provide the Service to you. Do not add information you do not have the right to share, such as another person’s confidential information. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Plans, free trial and payment

  • Free trial. New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full labels and up to 5 searches a day. After the trial, without a plan, you can still search, but full labels need a paid plan.
  • Plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe. Prices are in U.S. dollars, or Canadian dollars in Canada, plus any applicable taxes.
  • Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and we charge your payment method for the next period, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Account, under Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for partly used periods, except where the law requires it.
  • Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to your plan. The new price starts at your next renewal after that; you can cancel before then.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails and is not resolved, we may suspend your access to paid features until it is.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
  • Complimentary access. If we give you free access (for example as an early member), it continues on the terms we told you when we gave it.

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features or content, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, failures, or reasons outside our control. We do not promise that any particular product, country or feature will remain available.

10. Disclaimer

The Service and all data and information in it are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. You assume full risk, responsibility and liability for your use of the Service and its data.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CattleOS Inc. and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors and data sources will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or animal health or life, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and (b) CAD $100.

Some places do not allow certain warranties or liabilities to be excluded or limited. In those places, our warranties and liability are limited to the smallest extent the law allows.

12. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless CattleOS Inc. and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and licensors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your reliance on its information, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or anyone else’s rights.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, without notice if necessary, if you breach these Terms (including by copying or bulk downloading content), if your use creates risk for us or others, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 2, 5, 6 and 10 to 16 continue to apply after your account ends.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will ask you to accept the new Terms the next time you use the Service, and you will not be able to keep using it unless you accept. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, except that we may seek urgent relief to protect our rights in any court. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

16. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over the Service. These Terms are written in English, and the English version governs. It is the express wish of the parties that these Terms be drawn up in English. Les parties ont expressément exigé que les présentes conditions soient rédigées en anglais.
